Mark Binnington, B.Sc Executive VP Operations 401 Energy limited
Mark Binnington, Executive VP Operations, obtained his BTh. in 1981 from Tyndale University. Mr. Binnington has over 25 years of business experience with extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of startup companies, having come from a family in the financial services industry; he started his first company as a University student. After successfully managing his first company for 13 years, Mark ventured into new opportunities.
In 2003, Mr. Binnington developed the Morning Star Group of Companies with founder Dr. Robert Buckhannon. He was the acting President of Morning Star Financial LLC before joining 401Energy Ltd.
Mr. Binnington developed Muskoka Woods Sports Resort along with developer John Boddy. There he spent 10 years in the capacity as Executive Director/President. It was under his leadership that Muskoka Woods grew from a small operation to 300 staff and over 12,000 guests annually. During this time, Muskoka Woods became internationally recognized as one of the best run sporting and recreational organizations in all of North America.
Mr. Binnington has been in the wind energy business for over 5 years and joined 401 Energy Limited in 2007.
